Position Summary
Vista Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a collegial, supportive setting with access to state-of-the-art technology and a robust referral network.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., colonoscopy, EGD)
Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations
Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to coordinate patient care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois
Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
